What is Flatbed Printing?
Flatbed printing uses Ultraviolet inkjet printing to create long-lasting prints on a wide range of materials. The process involves the use of UV-curable inks, which dry very quickly when exposed to light and bolster high durability. Flatbed UV printers feature a flat surface where a multitude of materials such as plastic, acrylic, and glass are placed for printing. These printers can handle a variety of substrates as well, allowing for the flexibility to create both rigid and flexible surfaces. Adjustable printing beds can even accommodate several inch thick materials and allow for diverse printing applications. Flatbed printing eliminates the need for printing plates and silkscreens, making it a cost-effective solution for short production runs and custom prints.
